Biggest, best piece of Sea Glass I've ever found!
I'm obsessed with Sea Glass!
Now I've been finding sea glass for years, in fact, a few years ago while we were RVing through Oregon and Washington, I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon hiking to glass beach in Port Townsend, Washington. Believe me when I say it is a hike. For those of you reading this that want to go adventure to the glass beach in Port Townsend, Washington, I found all of the information I needed to make a fun day of it with the family here: https://beachlust.com/glass-beach-port-townsend/#t-1626549346030. You'll definitely have to plan ahead for this one as you can really only reach it during low tide and you have to make it back before the tide rises again. Definately an adventure that I felt was well worth it!
I have bottles of sea glass around my house, I just love looking at them.
Like I said, it is kind of an obsession for me. It seems like every vacation we end up somewhere near water and I've been lucky enough to have found sea glass on a tiny island off the Alaska coast, on islands off the Washington and British Columbian coasts, and at every other vacation spot I've ever been that is near the ocean.
I have bags of pristine pieces that I've collected that someday will become jewelry. So finding the two biggest best pieces of sea glass I've ever found, on a day trip to my favorite strip of beach to walk on, is so exciting to me! I'm very thankful to be able to spend days walking the beach and hunting for what I consider treasures.
Do you ever spot sea glass on your beach walks?
Until next time!
Lisa
